DESCRIPTION:Put on your best costume and dare to explore Muratie’s Forest single-track after sunset\, with a fun Halloween theme. \nPlan your costume    |    Charge your headlamp    |    Gather friends for a fun night at Muratie! \nDirtopia has been hosting this event since 2013 and this historic wine farm is the perfect venue with spider webs in the windows of the buildings… \nDon’t be scared\, as you’ll be treated to fantastic single-track and LIVE musicBe aware of unseen Halloween visitors\, as legend has it that there are zombies in the forest. \nREMEMBER: Yield for ghosts \n  \nCLICK – BUY TICKETS HERE \nREGISTRATION: From 18h00 at Dirtopia Trail Centre\, Muratie \nSTART TIMES:   (Sun sets at 19h12) \n10km 19h30 and 5km at 19h45 \nDISTANCES & ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS: Beautiful single-track trails that climbs to the ridge with stunning views of the sunset and back down to Muratie through the forest and more hand-built single-track. Walkers welcome. Kids welcome. \n5km – Short route runners will follow the same markers as the long distance to the ridge and central point at Gilloolys with a great view where you will find a water point. Head down the HoChiMihn singletrack forest and hope you make it back to Muratie…\n10km – An extra loop after the refreshment station about half-way at Gillooly’s. More forest single-track = more time to be spooked… \nGENERAL INFO: Pre-entries will save big time and a 2024 halloween medal to all finishers! The lucky draw will include prizes for the best costumes as an individual & a matching couple – win some of Muratie’s great wines\, FALKE socks and Sportsmans Warehouse prizes. \nThe refreshment station on both routes will have PVM\, fruit and Coke at the finish. Muratie will make sure the wine and beer is cold\, while delicious grab-’n-go meals will be for sale. If you have a Trail Tag from previous events\, please bring it along and wear on right wrist.  Runners also have the option of renting a temporary Amarider Trail tag at R20 and will be given to you at registration with your race number. The temporary tag will be taken off at the finish line. NO Trail Tag – NO Time www.trailtag.co.za \nTRAIL TAG:\n1. Only run with your own TrailTag\n2. Please return your rental tags at the finish line.\n3. The reader is powerful enough to read through arm warmers etc. \nRunners must stay on the marked trail. Listen to the MC at the start and follow yellow boards. Do not turn unless there is an arrow. Follow signs in front of you!\nPlease do not litter! We also urge you to not leave valuables in your vehicle. We can keep car keys at the Trail Centre for you.
