DESCRIPTION:Join us at Muratie for a live open-air show featuring a tribute to the greatest hits of Pink Floyd by Mel Botes. \nFor over a decade\, renowned South African songwriter and guitarist\,  Mel Botes has been recreating the classic 70s prog-rock sound of Pink Floyd for audiences across the country. Now\, in a new revision of the show\, Mel will be bringing to the stage a hand-picked selection from Pink Floyd’s catalogue of hits. \nCombining inspiration from the studio albums and iconic live productions\, Mel Botes will be performing classics like “Another brick in the wall”\, “Mother”\, “Comfortably numb” and “Wish you were here” as well as earlier works from original Floyd member Syd Barrett. He will also be playing several tracks from the album “The Dark Side of the Moon” in the order they were originally recorded. \n“This production has been a big challenge for me and a very valuable learning curve. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to use everything I’ve picked up about playing music over 30 years to help me interpret Pink Floyd’s music.” said by the artist. \nThe audience is encouraged to sing along during the show and to search for that old Floyd T-shirt you once had! \n  \nEVENT DETAILS: \nCheck-in: 12:30pm \nLunch: 12:30pm \nMusic starts: 3:00pm\nSeating: Table seating\, family style. First come first serve.\nFood & drink: A selected menu will be available for purchase. Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase.
