Music Conert: The Swingsetters

Date: Saturday 22 February
Time: 15h00
Tickets: R100 per person

The Swingsetters provide a collection of original and covered music combining and alternating between the styles of swing, funk and rock & roll, adding a touch of class to any event with their fine outfits and flamboyant instruments. The band comprises a number of accomplished musicians from different backgrounds, each one bringing something different to the table. An electric three piece horn section and solid rhythmic department sets the platform for the group’s 4 lead vocalists to fully express themselves. Musical influences range from the big band swing of Benny Goodman and the acapella stylings of the Andrews Sisters, to the funkadelic sounds of Stevie Wonder and the sexy crooning of Elvis Presley.
